Notes: APCR-V results are not affected by hemoglobin up to 500 mg/dL, bilirubin up to 18.8 mg/dL and triglycerides up to 1791 mg/dL.  No interference up to 1 U/mL (unfractionated and low molecular weight) heparin. 

Clinical Utility:

Intended use is for determination of resistance to activated Protein C, caused by the Factor V Leiden Mutation, in plasma from untreated individuals and from patients on oral anti-coagulant or heparin therapy.

Unacceptable Conditions: QNS, clotted, hemolyzed, and/or turbid samples
